Hello blog,
It's been a while. I'm doing an online mentorship class with Anthony Jones and this is the first weeks assignment. 5 silhouettes with some rough detail.

W.I.P Helmet
Trying Zbrush out properly for the first time. I think it might be the best thing ever. I'm trying something generic and simple just to get used to the software. It's an armored bust that I'll hopefully be able to 3D print soon. I <3 Zbrush.

Robot Design
Been working on this thang all day, it was pretty fun. I think I spent half the time doing the orange things because I suck at digital.

Character Design
I'm trying to do my character design, except I'm terrified to re-draw the character in different positions. I've never been able to get a result even remotely close to acceptable. Psssssht.

Small Update on Weapon Rendering
I didn't do a lot of art today, mostly mucking around in photoshop and finding a good way to render stuff.
This is what I got for today.

Weapon Thumbnails
Today in class I started working on some weapon thumbnails with marker with the intention of eventually modelling one or two of them in 3-D.
I managed to get a few thumbnails done and did the line-work + masked one of them out for rendering.
I know it's not 100% necessary to render the line-work to get to a 3-D model but I figured it was best to be as thorough as possible.

My thanks for your looking.
